Chef Damon K. Covington has earned a stellar reputation in the Tidewater area as Executive Chef at the Greenhouse in Newport News and a Chef instructor at Stratford University and Tidewater Community College, as well as the former executive chef of The Chamberlin Hotel in Hampton, Va.
Chef Damon Covington holds an Associates of Business Administration degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelors Business Administration degree in Food and Beverage Management from the Culinary Institute of Michigan at Baker College. Since 1994, Chef Damon career has taken him from his initial experience as a Mess Management Specialist in the United States Navy to his current position as a Chef Instructor at Tidewater Community College Norfolk, Va.
